Living in Garden Bay and Guanajuato
I am the proud owner of a new 2016 Jeep Patriot which I picked up yesterday in Langley. The 1996 Subaru had me worried about expensive repairs and the end of year savings offered by Jeep convinced me to buy now. It is the basic model plus the larger engine and a trailer hitch. My vehicle decision was based on price and the ability to tow so I don’t mind that the car is quite “retro”.
I return to Guanajuato for the winter on November 1. The garage construction will be *mostly* complete. Next year I will install the soffits and touch-up the paint. I may not get the garage doors done this year either.
I´ve been working on the cedar siding. It goes on quickly but the painting before hand takes time. I have one wall remaining to do.
On the inside I have three walls covered with plywood and have just started the ceiling. I had to figure out how to (safely) raise and nail the plywood sheets by myself. So far so good but nailing upside-down is tiring.
