{"id":92,"date":"2013-02-16T17:50:12","date_gmt":"2013-02-17T01:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ashworthdavidg.ca\/?p=92"},"modified":"2013-02-16T17:50:12","modified_gmt":"2013-02-17T01:50:12","slug":"ski-trip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ashworthdavidg.duckdns.org\/wordpress\/index.php\/2013\/02\/16\/ski-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"Ski Trip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I got three days of skiing in at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whistlerblackcomb.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Whistler<\/a> before Christmas but have not been back. \u00a0Although spring has arrived in Vancouver and I&#8217;m starting to think about going to the cabin in March, tomorrow I embark on a one week ski trip that should be fantastic.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday I drive to Revelstoke BC to meet up with friends and ski a couple of days at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.revelstokemountainresort.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Revelstoke Mountain Resort<\/a>. \u00a0&#8220;Revelstoke Mountain Resort boasts North America&#8217;s greatest vertical at 1,713 metres (5,620 ft)&#8221; and I have never skied there before. \u00a0I&#8217;m staying at the budget-minded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.revelstokelodge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Revelstoke Lodge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday we&#8217;ll drive to Meadow Creek BC to go catskiing at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.selkirkwilderness.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Selkirk Wilderness Skiing<\/a>. \u00a0The lodge is half way up the mountain in the wilderness and we&#8217;ll go up that afternoon for 3 days of powder skiing and 4 nights of good food and good fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I got three days of skiing in at Whistler before Christmas but have not been back. \u00a0Although spring has arrived in Vancouver and I&#8217;m starting to think about going to the cabin in March, tomorrow I embark on a one week ski trip that should be fantastic.
