{"id":422,"date":"2016-03-26T15:55:28","date_gmt":"2016-03-26T22:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ashworthdavidg.ca\/?p=422"},"modified":"2016-03-26T15:55:28","modified_gmt":"2016-03-26T22:55:28","slug":"back-in-garden-bay-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ashworthdavidg.duckdns.org\/wordpress\/index.php\/2016\/03\/26\/back-in-garden-bay-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Back in Garden Bay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The trip home was long and arduous. \u00a0It was a mistake to fly from Puerto Vallarta just to save a few pesos but when I booked I was open to spending a few days there before I flew home.<\/p>\n<p>The weather here has been mostly cool and wet, another apparent mistake to have come home mid-March. \u00a0The forecast however is looking great for this week.<\/p>\n<p>The house was mostly fine. \u00a0The deer got into the garden and ate some plants, nothing serious and it was easy to repair the breaches. \u00a0Goes to show that more fencing is required. \u00a0Received an order of 13 bare-root rose bushes and have them planted. \u00a0Six more are on their way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ashworthdavidg6722705c1a-bsotj.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/560e7-progress.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-423\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-423\" src=\"http:\/\/ashworthdavidg6722705c1a-bsotj.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/560e7-progress.jpg\" alt=\"progress\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I took me a few days to acclimatize and feel at home. \u00a0Yes I&#8217;m digging again to prepare for the garage floor. \u00a0Hoping to have the floor poured by the end of April and begin the fun part in May.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The trip home was long and arduous. \u00a0It was a mistake to fly from Puerto Vallarta just to save a few pesos but when I booked I was open to spending a few days there before I flew home.
