{"id":402,"date":"2016-02-04T17:46:44","date_gmt":"2016-02-05T01:46:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ashworthdavidg.ca\/?p=402"},"modified":"2016-02-04T17:46:44","modified_gmt":"2016-02-05T01:46:44","slug":"la-riviera-nayarita","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ashworthdavidg.duckdns.org\/wordpress\/index.php\/2016\/02\/04\/la-riviera-nayarita\/","title":{"rendered":"La Riviera Nayarita"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The trip to the beach was a total success. \u00a0I have finally learned how to spend the day on the beach. \u00a0One needs: beach umbrellas, a table, beach chairs, toys, and a cooler full of food and beer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ashworthdavidg6722705c1a-bsotj.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/4e018-20160129_1304251.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-404\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-404\" src=\"http:\/\/ashworthdavidg6722705c1a-bsotj.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/4e018-20160129_1304251.jpg\" alt=\"20160129_130425[1]\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We slept in the small town of Lo de Marcos and started the day with a jog on the local beach. \u00a0After a late breakfast we drove to a different beach each day: Guayabitos, Los Ayala, and Chacala.<\/p>\n<p>The drive home Monday was brutal as somehow I consumed tainted food, and even though I had taken Dukoral before I left, I got sick. \u00a0We stopped as I felt nauseous, I got out of the car, fainted in the heat, and then vomited. \u00a0I recovered somewhat after that.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday I felt poor, was struck by severe diarrhea Wednesday and had to stay in bed all day. \u00a0Finally decided to take the Cipro that brought from Canada just in case. \u00a0I am recovering now thankfully.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The trip to the beach was a total success. \u00a0I have finally learned how to spend the day on the beach. \u00a0One needs: beach umbrellas, a table, beach chairs, toys, and a cooler full of food and beer.
