I flew back to Vancouver on Tuesday January 13 with a stopover in Portland where I enjoyed a local craft beer, delicious! Mexican beer is cheap but ordinary. Lots to do in the city including putting the apartment back on the market. Drove to Garden Bay on Tuesday January 20. The house is pretty much as I left it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s cold, wet, and grey here in BC as it normally is in the winter, although last week we had a couple of nice-ish days. I don’t like the weather! My resolve to travel next winter is stronger than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Guanajuato I had an enjoyable routine and few responsibilities. Here I have too many responsibilities and I’ve yet to establish the routine that I have in mind. I’m playing piano but not seriously. My Spanish is retreating to the background which is unavoidable. I have run only once since my return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
